Sean Hannity advertises for GM and tells people to buy them.
Rush hates unions and GM is unionized and he hates even more government owned companies like GM
I thought Sean and Rush were on the same page on most issues

The history of General Motors Cars, the world's largest automaker, saw its beginning in 1908. The company was founded by William Durant in the year 1902. There was a time in the History of GM when it was the largest corporation in the US. The history of GM also shows that there was a time when GM was the single largest employer in the world. But, in recent times GM has been beset with financial woes. November 2005 saw GM booking a $4 billion loss and about 30,000 employees were laid off. 12 plants were closed down.

Other options being floated by the company include Flea Markets, Buy and Sell newspapers, and literal garage sales. LaNeve did admit that part of the motivation behind the new tactic was to engage buyers on a more personal and familiar level.

“There are very few people who aren’t intimidated by a dealership. Faced with salesmen looking to extract every dollar they can many people blanch at the very idea. It’s almost like going to the dentist for a lot of people and can garage sale
actually dissuade them from going in the first place, which of course inhibits sales. By engaging them in their own home they will make people a lot more comfortable with the whole process,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “Of course eBay has other advantages, not the least of which is the tendency for people to buy without really thinking about it. A lot of people will end up making a purchase or two that they regret but that will work out great for GM and could revitalize the entire industry in the long term.”

GM has made little effort of to sell any cars of late and many critics are taking issue with the new plan, claiming that the company is simply putting on a show for investors and not taking the realignment seriously.gm model

“The criticism may have merit but we will have to wait a little longer to see the results. Obviously no one wants to see the company selling their vehicles at massive discounts but moving cars is really the priority at the moment. Cars take up space on lots and they only lose value with age so pushing them out is becomes an issue financially,” continued Green. “The real issue for GM on eBay is going to be feedback. I’m sure they won’t have a lot of trouble delivering the cars in a timely manner but they are American-made cars which in recent years have had a spotty reputation for reliability. If they send out a handful of lemons they may very well see their reputation go into the toilet and then they will be in the same spot they are now.”

There is apparently no truth to the rumour that the company has plans to begin selling vehicles at dollar stores, yet.

Chevrolet Auto Parts: I need help finding parts for my Chevrolet Z71?

Ok... So I am looking for a cargo light cover with Z71 on it, chrome plates to replace my Z71 stickers ( They have to say Z71). I have already looked at Pep boys ( 3 stores) Auto Zone, Walmart, Napa, and many others... I really just need Websites!!!! Please help!

Cadillac Auto Parts: My radiator tank is leaking lots of water very fast.?

I have a 1998 Cadillac Catera ( I know, it isnt a very efficient or good car) and over the past few months, the radiator reserve tank would empty out over the course of about 300 miles. When that happens, I would just fill the tank up with water. Well I drove from Houston to Austin yesterday and I was fine for the entire trip but today I drove my car down the street. The radiator tank was empty again and I filled it up. About 2 miles down the road, the radiator tank was empty again. The car started to overheat and would only cool down when I was driving so I limited my idleness and stops. I took it to Advanced auto parts where the guy came out and showed me that I had a small tear in my lower radiator hose, but I know that the tear isnt big enough to leak that much water. Is there anything else I can do to find out what else is leaking or are there any reliable national chain auto shops that provide affordable diagnostics and repair. Could I do this myself.

OK... It is possible for all that fluid to leak out of a tear cause when you engine is running you build pressure in your cooling system and it will force a lot of liquid thru small holes. Sounds like this is more than just a small leak to be going thru that much fluid that quickly. Refill the radiator with the proper mix of coolant and water and then start the car and let it get to normal operating temperature. Pop the hood and look to see where the leak is coming from. You may have several or a big one you are missing. Once you locate the leak replace those parts that are affected( water hoses, water pump, radiator, thermostat). If you have to drive it to a shop make sure it is full with the proper mixture of coolant and water before you drive it. Keep an extra container of mixed coolant in your car in case you need it.
